1. Operators must be certified to work and non-professional drivers are strictly prohibited from operating. One must not leave the post without permission during work and must not operate machinery that does not match the operation certificate. It is strictly prohibited to hand over mechanical equipment to personnel without the operation certificate of this type for operation. Do not operate after drinking alcohol.

2. Before each operation, check whether the lubricating oil, fuel and water are sufficient, whether all instruments are normal, whether the transmission system and working device are in good condition, and whether there is no leakage in the hydraulic system and all pipelines, etc. Only after confirming that everything is normal can the operation be started.

3. Operators must strictly follow the inspection system before work, the observation system during work and the inspection and maintenance system after work as stipulated in the machine manual.

4. The cab or operation room should be kept clean and tidy. It is strictly prohibited to store flammable and explosive items. Wearing slippers, smoking and working after drinking alcohol are strictly prohibited. It is strictly prohibited for machinery to operate with faults or under overload.

5. When mechanical equipment is parked at the construction site, a safe parking location should be selected, the door of the driver's cab (operation room) should be locked, and the parking brake should be pulled. When parking on a slope, use triangular timbers or stones to support the wheels. There should be a dedicated person on duty at night.

6. Soil must not be piled up to cover structures and facilities such as water supply gate Wells, fire hydrants, roadside ditches, rain and sewage Wells, and control piles set up by surveyors. If it is necessary to push soil, relevant personnel should be consulted and certain protective measures should be taken before construction can commence.

7. Soil piles must not be placed near transformers, civilian houses, and ancient buildings, etc., to prevent uneven force from causing the collapse of transformers and buildings and affecting safety.

8. When walking or working, especially when raising or lowering the shovel, it should be done slowly.

When a bulldozer is going up or down a slope, the slope must not exceed 30 degrees. When working on a cross slope, the cross slope shall not exceed 10°. When going downhill, it is advisable to retreat and descend. Coasting in neutral is strictly prohibited. If necessary, the shovel blade can be lowered for auxiliary braking.

When working on steep slopes or high embankments, a dedicated person must be assigned to direct operations. It is strictly prohibited for the scraper to extend beyond the edge of the slope. When the soil delivery is stopped, the reverse gear should be changed first before lifting the shovel to reverse.

When working in trenches on vertical slopes, the depth of the trenches for large bulldozers shall not exceed 2 meters, and for small bulldozers, it shall not exceed 1.5 meters. The blade of a bulldozer must not push stones or large soil lumps higher than the fuselage on the slope wall.

12. Soil should be piled up on one or both sides of the ditch, all at least 1 meter away from the ditch edge (in soft soil areas, the distance between the piled soil and the ditch edge should not be less than 1.5 meters). The height of the piled soil should not exceed 1.5 meters. The top of the piled soil should have a water flow slope to the outside. It is also necessary to consider leaving a site access road to facilitate construction and safety. The amount of soil piled on each side can be determined according to the on-site conditions, but construction safety must be guaranteed.

When removing the blades of a bulldozer, the convenience of the next hanging must be taken into consideration. When removing the blade, the auxiliary personnel should closely cooperate with the driver. When threading through the steel wire rope, they should wear canvas gloves and strictly prohibit peering into the rope hole with their eyes.

When multiple machines are operating on the same working surface, the distance between the front and rear machines should not be less than 8 meters, and the distance between the left and right machines should be more than 1.5 meters. When two or more bulldozers are pushed side by side, there should be a distance of 20 to 30cm between the blades of the two bulldozers. The pusher must travel in a straight line at the same speed. When retreating, one should do so in sequence to prevent mutual collisions.

When a bulldozer is towing other equipment, there must be a dedicated person in charge of giving instructions. The connection of the steel wire is firm and reliable. When working on slopes or during long-distance traction, construction workers should keep a safe distance.
