Wherever there is a discovery, one must explore
For the first time in the industry, an advanced exploration and placement drilling rig has been integrated into the integrated roadheader and anchor machine, truly achieving "exploration wherever there is excavation".
The entire process of "positioning - walking - cutting" is self-executed
Based on the geological conditions of the surrounding rock of the roadway, a series of cutting heads with power ratings of 270kW, 315kW, 340kW and 540kW have been developed. Through positioning guidance technology and constant power adaptive cutting technology, the entire process of "positioning - walking - cutting" is self-executing. It innovatively applies the comprehensive and highly efficient dust removal technology of "foam + water mist offset", which can suppress dust at the source and is noise-free and environmentally friendly.
From "determining excavation by excavation" to "determining support by excavation"
For the support process that takes the longest time, the concept of balance between excavation and anchor is proposed. According to the design of the roadway support, the drill arms are arranged so that the number of support anchor rods for each drill arm is ≤2, allowing the equipment to adapt to the on-site conditions and achieving that the support time is ≤ the excavation time. This bids farewell to the traditional situation of "determining excavation based on support" and enters a new stage of "determining support based on excavation".
The main and auxiliary fortunes are resolved as a whole
In terms of main transportation, the transfer belt conveyor is configured in accordance with the principle of "transfer distance ≥ maximum daily advance". The belt is only extended once per circular shift to ensure that main transportation does not affect the tunneling target. A series of belt transfer machine products of 30m, 51m and 60m have been formed. Compared with the main transportation, in the traditional construction method, the transportation of auxiliary materials is all done manually, which involves a large number of personnel, high labor intensity, high safety risks and low efficiency. CRRC Heavy Industry has innovatively developed an auxiliary material transportation system. Through the material frame, anchor rods, mesh sheets and other support materials are automatically transported from the tail of the machine to the equipment material warehouse, achieving the automation of auxiliary material transportation.
Fewer people mean peace
To reduce the number of workers at the tunneling face, an automatic net laying device, a fully automatic support anchor bolt robot, and a new type of anchor bolt with built-in resin anchor agent have been developed, achieving automated tunneling support operations. Through remote centralized control, the number of workers in a single shift at the tunneling face has been reduced to less than seven, creating a smart tunneling face with fewer workers.

One mine, one policy; crossing coal and rock
CRRC Heavy Industry provides high-end customized mining equipment based on the principle of "one mine, one policy", and has developed multiple products that fill domestic and international gaps. It has obtained 28 safety mark certificates for the integrated roadheader and anchor machine, ranking first among similar domestic products. More than 50 sets of rapid excavation and anchoring equipment have been sold cumulatively. They have been widely applied in various complex geological conditions of multiple large coal groups such as National Energy, Shaanxi Coal Chemical Industry, China Coal, and Shandong Energy, and have been widely recognized by the industry and customers. They have won the First prize of the Science and Technology Award of China National Coal Association in 2021 and the "13th Five-Year Plan" Scientific and Technological Innovation Achievement Award of the Coal Machinery Industry. I am currently leading and editing the group standard for "Integrated Roadheader and Anchor Machine".
The first domestically produced super-large cross-section rapid excavation and anchoring complete set of equipment used in Caojiatan Coal Mine of Shaanxi Coal Industry Group has achieved a major breakthrough with a maximum daily advance of 101 meters and a monthly advance of 2,020 meters. The average monthly advance has remained stable at over 1,500 meters. In 2020, it was promoted nationwide as an application model at the National Coal Mine Rapid Excavation On-site Conference held in Yulin.
The first domestically produced thin coal seam excavation and anchoring integrated machine for Shendong Group is technologically ahead of imported equipment from abroad. It is equipped with a 360-degree anti-personnel approach system that provides all-round and seamless safety guarantees for workers. Under the condition of "half coal and half rock", the monthly footage is stable at over 500 meters, which has been highly recognized and promoted by customers.
The advanced support roadheader and anchor integrated machine used in the Shanghai Miao mining area of Shandong Energy, through the advanced sliding design of the support platform, achieves zero roof support. Under complex conditions such as water-rich, soft rock, high ground pressure, and rib roof drop, the monthly advance reaches over 700 meters, further expanding the adaptability range of the roadheader and anchor integrated machine. The trend of "fast excavation replacing comprehensive excavation" is unstoppable.

Research and development support capacity
CRRC Heavy Industry has established a ten-in-one scientific and technological innovation platform, which includes a national Enterprise Technology Center, a National Industrial Design Center, a National Engineering Technology Research Center, a National Postdoctoral research Workstation, 18 research and design institutes, and over 30 long-term cooperative universities or academician teams. It adheres to conducting original, innovative, strategic and disruptive research. Focus on the research and development of non-standard, personalized and customized high-end equipment closely related to construction methods.

It is equipped with functions such as intelligent identification, intelligent scanning and perception, and intelligent distribution, achieving intelligent management of materials.
