During the operation of the rice stone remover, it is necessary to pay close attention to core links such as the uniformity of feeding, air volume adjustment, screen surface condition, equipment vibration and inclination Angle, and shutdown operation. The specific precautions are as follows:

I. Feed Control: Uniformity and stability are the key

Flow regulation

The flow rate should be based on the rated output to avoid being too large or too small. When the flow rate is too high, the overly thick material layer will increase the resistance of air flow penetration, preventing the material from remaining in a semi-suspended state and reducing the stone removal effect. If the flow rate is too small, the material layer will be too thin, and the airflow can easily penetrate, disrupting the automatic stratification of materials and stones, which also affects the separation efficiency.

An appropriate amount of grain should be maintained in the storage hopper to prevent the material from directly hitting the screen surface and ensure the stability of the suspended state.

Uniformity of distribution

The materials should fall continuously and evenly along the width of the screen surface to avoid local accumulation or material breakage. The material can be evenly distributed over the screen width by adjusting the material distribution paddle or the feeding device.

Before starting the vehicle, a layer of material can be spread all over the working surface to prevent uneven airflow distribution during startup.

Ii. Air volume Regulation: Precisely match the material state

Air volume size

The air volume needs to be adjusted according to the type and state of the material. Take rice as an example, the thickness of the post-suspension flow layer should be controlled at 30 to 40 millimeters, and for wheat, it should be 20 to 30 millimeters.

The air volume of the blow type stone remover is controlled by adjusting the cross-sectional area of the air inlet, while that of the suction type stone remover is regulated by the opening degree of the air damper of the suction pipe. After adjustment, it is necessary to observe the pressure gauge indication to ensure the stability of the air volume.

Reverse air regulation

The reverse wind is used to blow back the rice mixed in the selection room without hindering the discharge of the side stones. The direction and speed of the reverse air can be changed by adjusting the cross-sectional area of the arc-shaped air plate at the top of the selection chamber or the air inlet at the bottom.

Iii. Maintenance of the Screen Surface: Keep it unobstructed and flat

Sieve hole cleaning

Regularly check whether the stone removal screen plate, air distribution plate and air intake door are blocked. If the sieve holes are clogged, they can be cleaned with a wire brush. Do not strike them hard to avoid damaging the flatness of the sieve plate. The double-sided raised sieve plate can be turned over for use, which extends its service life.

Sieve plate replacement

When the sieve plate is worn, it should be replaced in time to ensure the accuracy of the hole shape and the flatness of the plate surface. When replacing, shaping is required. The unevenness of the removed stone slabs must not exceed 2 millimeters, and that of the selected plates must not exceed 0.5 millimeters.

Iv. Equipment Vibration and Inclination Angle: Dynamic balance is the core

Vibration parameters

The amplitude and vibration frequency need to match the characteristics of the material. Excessive amplitude or high frequency can cause the material to jump and disrupt the automatic stratification. If the amplitude is too small or the frequency is too low, the material movement will be slow and the separation efficiency will decrease.

The vibration motor can change the excitation direction by adjusting the installation Angle (vibration Angle), or the excitation force can be adjusted by changing the position of the counterweight block (professional operation is required).

Screen surface inclination Angle

The inclination Angle of the stone removal screen surface should be maintained between 10° and 13°. When the inclination Angle is too large, the resistance to the discharge of stones increases, the flow rate of materials accelerates, and the side stones are prone to be mixed with clean grains. If the inclination Angle is too small, the material will be difficult to discharge and the grain content in the stones will increase.

The inclination Angle can be adjusted by changing the thickness of the pad plate under the rear rocker support. When adjusting, the rubber torsioner needs to be loosened to ensure that the horizontal inclination Angle of the rocker after the eccentric shaft moves is about 35°.

V. Shutdown Operation: Standardize procedures to prevent faults

Shutdown sequence

When the machine is shut down, the feeding should be stopped first. After all the materials on the screen surface have been removed, the fan and the air duct gate should be closed to prevent material blockage.

After maintenance, an empty test run is required to check if the machine is working properly and if the steering is correct. Only after confirming that there are no errors can materials be fed for operation.

Long-term maintenance out of service

When the device is not in use for a long time, a layer of material should be retained on the stone removal screen plate to prevent uneven air distribution when it is started next time.

Regularly clean the bearings and replenish the lubricating oil. Rolling bearings need to be disassembled, cleaned and have their grease replaced once a year.
