The correct operation method of the seedling raising and sowing machine

I. Usage Method

(1) Preparations before sowing

The treatment of soil

Since the time from irrigation to sowing is fixed, please choose bed soil with good permeability for use.

The soil sieved through a 5mm mesh screen is used as the bed soil. The moisture content of the bed soil should be such that it forms a block when gently held with one hand and then unfolded, and immediately breaks when touched with a finger. Using soil with excessive moisture content will cause arching (where the soil in the bin cannot flow out smoothly).

The processing and cleaning of rice seeds

Debris, awns and branches on the rice seeds should be removed; otherwise, it will lead to uneven sowing. According to the seedling raising method, salt water selection, disinfection, seed soaking and germination should be carried out. Long rice grains longer than 8mm cannot be sown, and rice grains with a length of 6-7mm should be selected.

Rice seeds germinate in a broken chest state, but the sprouts should not grow too long. Dry the rice seeds in the shade until they no longer stick to your hands before sowing. If the rice seeds are not completely dry or the sprouts grow too long, it will lead to uneven sowing.

The placement of the machine

Please choose a place with a flat and solid ground, stable power supply voltage and stable water pressure supply of tap water. Keep the machine body in a horizontal position by adjusting the height adjustment bolt under the support foot. If the placed machine body is not kept in a horizontal position, it will cause the seed tray to tilt, resulting in uneven sowing and uneven irrigation.

Irrigate

Clean water sources should be selected. River water or other unclean water must not be used, otherwise it will cause blockage of the irrigation system.

Seedling trays

Choose a standard-sized seedling hard drive without bending or warping.

(II) Startup and Shutdown

Plug the power plug of the drive unit motor into a single-phase 220V power supply, and set the main switch to the "ON" position. At this point, the conveying rubber rollers and rotating brushes start to work. Turn the opening switch of the sowing department to the "ON" position. At this point, the sowing department starts to operate for sowing.

Turn the main switch to the "OFF" position. At this point, the machine will shut down.

(3) Machinery adjustment

Adjustment of the rotating brush

When adjusting the height of the brush, it should be consistent with the seedling tray being used. First, confirm whether the adjusting crossbar is at the "0" position on the rotating brush bracket seat. Then, adjust the screw handle to make the gap between the rotating brush and the surface of the seedling tray zero.

The rotary brush after sowing and covering with soil is to remove the residual rice seeds and covering soil on the upper surface of the edge of the seedling tray. The grasping amount should be adjusted to the "0" position.

Adjustment of the tensioning clutch in the soil cover part

The V-belt at the soil cover part becoming longer will increase the load on the pulley of the V-belt and accelerate its wear. When the tensioning clutch is in the "engaged" position, the gap position of the V-belt is around 20mm, and the operating Angle of the tensioning arm exceeds 80°, the tensioning adjustment of the V-belt should be carried out.

First, loosen the four nuts fixed in the soil covering hopper, move the soil covering hopper parallel, and tighten the V-belt. The tensioning condition is based on the standard when the tensioning clutch is "engaged", the clearance of the V-belt is 30-35mm, and the operating Angle of the tensioning clutch is 65-70 °. After that, secure the soil cover hopper, place the tensioning clutch in the "in" position, and confirm the working condition.

Adjustment of bed soil and cover soil volume

Excessive output of the bed soil will cause soil accumulation around the rotating brush, preventing the bed soil from being evenly brushed flat. This can be adjusted through the handle on the side of the hopper.

Regulation of sowing amount

Follow the manufacturer's instructions for use. For example, for the Dongfeng well relational row seeder, the adjustment can be made by replacing the number of teeth on the sprocket.

The adjustment of the guide rails of the seedling tray

Adjust the seedling hard disk to the center position by regulating the bolt handle.

Regulation of irrigation water volume

The irrigation volume should be adjusted according to the type and dryness of the bed soil. When adjustment is needed, the switch of the water inlet pipe valve can be opened to adjust the water pressure valve.

Ii. Precautions

This type of product is in direct contact with soil and water, which is prone to corrosion. After use, the soil and residual rice seeds on each component should be cleaned up in time and then rinsed with water. The motor and switch areas must not be flushed. When flushing, the power supply should be disconnected. Do not reactivate before drying.
