Just 5 minutes! Batch remote calibration and upgrade of Guangxi Cummins' National IV engines
Recently, users in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region who are equipped with Guangxi Cummins non-road National IV engines have personally experienced the convenience of completing remote calibration and upgrade in just 5 minutes. Beijing is one of the first regions to implement the non-road National IV (Beijing IV) regulations and policies, and it is at the forefront of the country in terms of regulation enforcement. It is also the region with the largest number of Guangxi Cummins National IV engines used in terminal deployment at present. All the loaders participating in the remote calibration and upgrade this time are equipped with Guangxi Cummins L9 National IV engines.
The remote calibration and upgrade function of Guangxi Cummins engines is a method of upgrading the engine control module (ECM) by means of network remote transmission and in combination with the interconnection mode between the engine intelligent terminal and the cloud platform. In the past, in the field of construction machinery, if calibration and upgrading were required, it was common for service personnel to make appointments with customers, and the service personnel would provide on-site services and carry out offline brushing and upgrading. Remote calibration replaces the process where service personnel go to the site for upgrades, significantly saving time. Drivers only need to wait for five minutes to remotely upgrade the engine system, optimize engine performance, increase machine availability, and reduce costs.
The switch to National IV emission standards for non-road vehicles will be officially implemented on December 1, 2022. In terms of emission standards, National IV is higher and stricter than National III. The emergence of remote calibration and upgrade conforms to the high requirements of emission standards and meets the market's rapid update of engine calibration. Cummins engines utilize over-the-air (OTA) technology, and CSU has revolutionized the traditional brushing method. It has made a breakthrough first in the non-road field in China. Guangxi Cummins is the first engine manufacturer to achieve remote batch upgrades of engine systems.
The first batch of National IV equipment was successfully upgraded through remote calibration. Its powerful functions have been recognized by the relevant Oems. At the same time, they have high expectations for the remote calibration and upgrade function of Cummins engine CSU, especially when they received the special mission of program upgrade during the fight against the epidemic. Cummins engine remote service will provide users with a safe, timely, reliable, "zero-risk" and "zero-contact" service experience, ensuring the efficient operation of equipment.
