After the steering axle is assembled, there must be correct connections and fit clearances between each part.
The clearance between the steering knuckle and the steering knuckle pin shaft should not exceed 0.1mm.
2) The end clearance between the steering knuckle and the steering axle is generally 0.05 to 0.1mm. If the end clearance is too large, an adjusting gasket can be installed for adjustment.
The maximum clearance of the needle roller bearings between the steering knuckle shaft and the steering axle should not exceed 0.1mm.
After the hub bearing of the steering axle is lubricated with grease and installed, tighten the adjustment and fixing nut of the hub bearing. When it is difficult to turn the wheel, the nut should be retracted by 1/5 turn and then the lock washer should be installed. When turning the wheels, it should be smooth and flexible. When turning the wheels, there should be no feeling of axial clearance.
5) Adjust the parallelism of the wheel hub, with an error not exceeding 1mm. This can be done by adjusting the steering rod screw. After adjustment, tighten the stop nut.
6) Adjust the corner. Lift the steering axle, turn the hub to the left end position, adjust the piston rod of the steering cylinder, then place the spring washer and tighten the nut.
