Due to the reduced application of water, fertilizers, and pesticides as well as the decreased occurrence of pests and diseases brought by drip irrigation,

the quality of products can be significantly improved. In summary, compared to traditional irrigation methods, the adoption of drip irrigation in facility

horticulture such as greenhouses or sheds can greatly enhance product yield, shorten the time to market, and reduce the input costs of water, fertilizers,

pesticides, and labor, thereby yielding significant economic and social benefits. Drip irrigation technology in facility horticulture meets the demands of

high-yield, efficient modern agriculture, which is the fundamental reason for its existence and widespread promotion.

**Function of the Labyrinth Drip Irrigation Tape**

It is currently the most effective water-saving irrigation method in arid regions, with water utilization rates reaching up to 95%. Drip irrigation offers higher

water-saving and yield-increasing effects compared to sprinkler irrigation while also enabling combined fertilization, which can more than double fertilizer

efficiency. It is suitable for irrigating fruit trees, vegetables, cash crops, as well as greenhouses and sheds, and can even be used for field crop irrigation in

water-scarce areas. The drawback is that drippers are prone to clogging and scaling, so strict filtration of the water source is necessary. Currently, domestic

equipment has largely overcome these issues, and regions with the appropriate conditions should actively promote drip irrigation.

Additionally, the labyrinth drip irrigation tape is easy to operate, allowing for high-frequency irrigation. With its small outflow holes and slow flow rate,

each irrigation session lasts a relatively long time, resulting in minimal fluctuations in soil moisture. This enables the root zone soil to remain close to the

optimal humidity levels for the growth of vegetables, flowers, and other crops over an extended period. By controlling indoor air humidity and soil moisture,

the occurrence of pests and diseases can be significantly reduced, further lowering pesticide usage.
