A Brief Discussion on What Precautions should be taken when using the Rasper knotter
As a highly stable agricultural machinery component, the Lasber knower requires special attention to screw adjustment, rope reel cleaning, component wear inspection, lubrication system maintenance and operation norms during use. The specific precautions are as follows:
Screw adjustment
Rope board screws: If the rope board only breaks the rope but does not tangle, you can slightly tighten the rope board screws 1 to 2 times.
Eagle-beak screw: If the eagle-beak does not come loose or is knotted too tightly, it can also be tightened 1 to 2 times.
Rope reel cleaning
Regularly check if there is any residual rope in the rope reel. If there is any residue, lift the knotting device and clean it thoroughly; otherwise, it will affect the knotting effect.
Component wear inspection
Rope clamping plate: Check whether the groove of the rope clamping plate is flush with the outer edge of the rope clamping piece. It should not be too large or too small, otherwise the rope clamping plate will not be able to hold the rope. At the same time, check whether the rope clamping discs are worn and replace the worn ones in time.
Eagle beak: Check if the eagle beak is worn, deformed or if the balls have fallen off. Excessive wear of the eagle beak will make it difficult to come off the rope. If the balls fall off, the eagle beak will not be able to open and knot. Replace the worn eagle beak and balls in time.
Eagle beak pressure plate: Check whether the eagle beak pressure plate is too loose or too tight. If it is too tight, it will not be knotted; if it is too loose, it will result in single or double bows. Adjust the tightness of the screws on the pressure plate to ensure the knotting effect.
Key pins: Check if the key pins are worn. The wear of key pins will lead to an increase in the clearance of the gear disk, affecting the success rate of the knotting device. Replace the worn key pins in time.
Maintenance of lubrication system
The Lasper knotter can be equipped with an original central lubrication system. Regularly check the working condition of the lubrication system to ensure that the lubricating oil is sufficient and evenly distributed.
According to the usage conditions, add or replace the lubricating oil regularly to reduce component wear and extend the service life of the equipment.
