What are the precautions for replacing new parts of agricultural machinery?
When purchasing new parts, pay attention to the quality of the components and identify inferior and substandard products. Carefully inspect the parts for rust spots, cracks, deformations and other defects, and whether the surface dimensions meet the requirements.
2. Before assembly, the anti-rust coating on the surface of new accessories should be thoroughly removed, especially for precision pairs, to avoid potential accident hazards.
3. Deformed products are not interchangeable. Some diesel engine factories produce deformed products of the same model, and their parts are not interchangeable.
4. Some mating parts should be replaced in pairs. When replacing gears, do not only replace the one that is more severely worn. When replacing the double-row sleeve roller chains in the transmission box, the driving and driven sprockets should also be replaced in pairs. When replacing the cylinder liner, the piston and piston rings should be replaced simultaneously.
5. Standard parts and enlarged parts of the same model are not interchangeable. Manufacturers will produce large-sized spare parts for users to choose from when repairing. Therefore, when purchasing spare parts, it is necessary to determine whether the purchased parts are standard parts or large-sized parts. For standard parts, the journal can only be equipped with standard crankshaft shells. Otherwise, a large amount of processing is required when scraping the bearing shells, which not only wastes time but also cannot guarantee the repair quality and will greatly reduce the service life.
When replacing new parts, the model of the new part should be the same as that of the old part. Some operators, when replacing new fuel injectors, do not pay attention to the original specifications and models of the injectors. As a result, they often mistakenly purchase needle valve pairs, which can cause difficulties in starting at best and even lead to the injectors getting stuck at worst.
7. Attention must be paid to directionality during installation. Some parts have directionality. If not paid attention to, they may cause difficulties in starting after installation and even damage the machine parts.
