Due to the closed space in greenhouses, the respiration of plants and the concentration of light may cause the temperature to be too high and the humidity to be insufficient in the greenhouse environment, which can lead to problems such as dehydration, withering and slow growth of plants during the planting process, resulting in significant losses. To solve the problem of excessively high temperatures in greenhouses, cooling equipment must be installed in all greenhouses.

Common methods for cooling greenhouses include: shading cooling, wet curtain cooling and spray system cooling.

Shading and cooling: It involves blocking the excess sunlight outside the greenhouse to create shade and protect the crops inside, keeping the temperature inside the greenhouse at a suitable level. This can effectively prevent direct sunlight from shining on the crops. This cooling method requires that the external shading materials be strong, durable, have low elasticity and be anti-aging, but the cost is relatively high.

2. Wet curtain cooling: It is a process in which high-temperature air from the outside passes through a water-soaked wet curtain, increasing humidity and cooling down, and forming cold air. The cold air then absorbs the residual heat through the controlled room and is discharged outdoors. It mainly uses the evaporation of water to cool down. Since the evaporation of water needs to absorb heat, it can take away part of the heat inside the greenhouse. At the same time, the fans are started to extract the hot air flow inside the greenhouse to achieve cooling.

3. The cooling method of the spray system is similar to that of the wet curtain cooling system. Both achieve the cooling effect by absorbing heat from the air through water evaporation. The difference is that the spray dust suppression system turns water into atomized particles of 1-15μm. The atomized particles are extremely fine and can easily diffuse in the air, thereby absorbing more heat and accelerating the evaporation rate. The cooling effect is more obvious than that of a wet curtain.
