Summer loader air conditioning maintenance tips
Step 1: Inspect the compressor and clutch
Before turning on the air conditioning system, first check the tension of the connecting belt. If it is too loose, it is prone to slipping
There may be abnormal noises. If it is too tight, it will increase the load on the engine.
Solution: Adjust the tightness by regulating the adjusting screw on the compressor installation bracket.
Step 2: Check if the refrigerant is leaking
Determine whether the refrigerant is leaking by observing whether there are oil stains at the compressor shaft seal and the connection joints of each hose.
Solution measures: Replace the sealing parts and tighten the nuts at the joints.
Step 3: Inspect the evaporator and condenser
1. Check if there is a large amount of dust on the new surfaces of the evaporator and condenser. If so, it needs to be cleaned.
2. Check whether the fan is operating normally and whether the wiring connections are firm.
Solution measures: Clean the dust, inspect the motor, and reconnect the circuits.
Step 4: Check the cooling effect of the air conditioner
Close the doors and Windows of the cab and record the indoor temperature when the air conditioner is not on.
2. Start the engine, turn on the third gear switch of the air conditioner and the thermostat knob. Set the fan to high-speed and the temperature control to strong cooling. Use a dry thermometer to measure that the temperature at the air outlet should not exceed 13℃.
3. Increase the engine speed to 1800-2000r/min. After the air conditioner has been running continuously for 15 minutes, check the temperature inside the driver's cabin. The inspection standard is: When the temperature around the driver reaches the driver's comfort curve range of 24℃ to 28℃, or when the ambient temperature is between 38℃ and the maximum design ambient temperature for machine operation, it should be at least 11℃ lower than the ambient temperature.
Step 5: Check the operation of the compressor
If the air conditioner's cooling effect is normal, then check if there is any severe vibration during operation, if there is any abnormal noise inside the compressor, and the engagement and disengagement of the electromagnetic clutch. If there are no problems, the inspection is complete.
Step 6: If the air conditioner's cooling effect is poor, check the following:
First, observe the flow of the refrigerant through the sight glass on the liquid storage tank to determine the working condition of the system:
If no refrigerant can be seen flowing in the sight glass window and the cooling effect is extremely poor, it indicates that there is basically no refrigerant in the system.
Solution: Use a halogen electronic leak detector or apply soapy water to check if there is any leakage in all parts of the system. If there is no leakage, evacuate the air and replenish the refrigerant.
2. If the refrigerant in the sight glass is clear but there are many bubbles, especially when the bubbles increase sharply at the beginning of startup, it indicates a serious refrigerant leakage.
Solution: Use a halogen electronic leak detector or apply soapy water to check if there is any leakage in all parts of the system.
3. If the refrigerant in the sight glass is clear and free of bubbles, it can be divided into the following three situations:
If the outlet air temperature of the evaporator is normal, it indicates that the refrigerant is suitable.
(2) If the outlet air temperature is too high and there is still refrigerant flowing after the machine stops, it indicates that there is too much refrigerant.
Solution: Remove some of the refrigerant.
4. If you touch the liquid storage tank with your hand and find no obvious error between the inlet and outlet, it is normal. However, if there is a significant temperature difference between the inlet and outlet or frost forms at the outlet, it indicates that the liquid storage tank is severely clogged.
Solution: Clear the blockage or replace the liquid storage tank.
