Fake engine oil does not have a thick enough oil film, making it difficult to avoid wear and tear of machine parts.

There is rapid relative sliding between the piston and the cylinder, as well as between the main shaft and the bearing bush. To prevent the surface of the machine parts from wearing due to sliding, we need to establish an oil film on the two sliding surfaces. An oil film of sufficient thickness can separate the surfaces of relatively sliding parts, thereby achieving the purpose of reducing wear. Fake engine oil usually fails to form a thick enough oil film, which accelerates engine wear and various problems arise as a result.

2. Fake engine oil cannot help dissipate heat and is prone to causing the engine temperature to rise too high.

Engine oil has a relatively low specific heat capacity and does not have a cooling effect by itself. However, when the engine is running, the combustion of fuel generates a large amount of heat energy, which requires the engine oil to be able to carry the heat back to the fuel tank and then dissipate it. Fake engine oil is hard to help dissipate heat and can easily lead to dry friction, causing the engine to overheat and other conditions.

3. Fake engine oil has poor cleaning performance and cannot clean the engine.

Good engine oil can carry the carbides, sludge and worn metal particles on the engine parts back to the oil tank through circulation by flowing. However, fake engine oil has poor cleaning performance. If you use fake engine oil, you will find that it is very easy for carbon deposits, sludge and other dirt to form on the engine.

4. Fake engine oil has poor sealing performance, which can easily lead to cylinder pressure leakage, increasing fuel consumption and emissions.

Engine oil can form a "sealing ring" between the piston rings and the cylinder wall, reducing gas leakage and ensuring sufficient pressure inside the cylinder. Fake engine oil does not have this effect. Therefore, using fake engine oil can easily lead to cylinder pressure leakage. At this time, the engine cannot output sufficient power, which will cause a series of problems such as increased fuel consumption, increased emissions, and rapid oil consumption.

5. Fake engine oil has poor anti-rust properties and accelerates the rusting of metal parts.

Lubricating oil can adhere to the surface of parts, preventing water, air, acidic substances and harmful gases from coming into contact with the parts. However, fake engine oil has poor adhesion, so it will accelerate the oxidation of metal parts, leading to severe rusting.

6. Fake engine oil has poor lubrication capacity and cannot buffer the impact load.

When the pressure at the engine cylinder opening rises sharply, the load on the piston, piston debris, connecting rod and crankshaft bearing will become very large. However, through the transmission lubrication of the bearing, the load can be reasonably buffered. Fake engine oil has poor lubrication capacity, which makes it difficult for it to buffer such loads. Over time, this will cause mechanical failures.

In conclusion, using fake engine oil can lead to continuous malfunctions at best, and at worst, cylinder pulling and bearing burning. Saving a little on fuel costs for maintenance leads to a shortened engine lifespan or even premature scrapping. Therefore, Doosan fans must keep their eyes wide open and choose genuine Doosan lubricating oil.
