Maintenance
The rainy season is approaching. Let's take a look at the most comprehensive maintenance guide for loaders during the rainy season in history
When doing homework
Pay attention to the road conditions. For instance, when working on a slippery road, always be aware of the surrounding environment and keep a close eye on it at all times. When pushing and shoveling materials, a small throttle can be used for the operation. Be steady and do not rush.
When necessary, reverse the vehicle and shovel it one more time to avoid damaging the tires.
When the road surface conditions are severe, anti-skid chains can be installed to increase the safety factor. The installation of anti-skid chains should be carried out in advance. Don't start installing only when you encounter extreme environments. Such hasty installation is not only unsafe but also rather troublesome. In special circumstances, safety warning signs must be placed at the front and back of the loader during installation. Do not install anti-skid chains when the tire pressure is insufficient. Secondly, pay attention to the size of the anti-skid chains. Choose anti-skid chains that match the size of different wheel hubs and wheel widths. After installing the anti-skid chains, be careful not to travel at too fast a speed for the loader and avoid sudden acceleration or deceleration that may cause damage to the anti-skid chains.
When clearing soil and eliminating dangers in narrow or gully areas, it is essential to have the cooperation of an excavator. Do not rush straight ahead rashly to avoid danger. There should also be relevant hazard elimination personnel on the side to observe and direct to ensure personal safety.
When parked
When the machine is parked, the working device should be kept dry and clean. Do not let water get in to avoid rusting and making the machine less convenient to operate.
After the rainy season operation, it is essential to thoroughly clean the chassis of the loader. Maintenance and oiling should be carried out on necessary areas to prevent rust. Check if all the oil drain screws are loose and perform maintenance in a timely manner. If there is any water accumulation on the machine, it should be removed promptly to avoid rust and affect the flexibility of the machine.
When parked outdoors, it is necessary to check whether the fuel tank and hydraulic tank covers are tightly closed to prevent rainwater from seeping into the tanks and causing unnecessary trouble.
On rainy days, it is also necessary to pay attention to checking the filter element of the air filter of the loader to prevent rainwater from entering, which may cause the paper filter element to deteriorate, be damaged and get clogged. Replace and maintain it in time.
Pay attention to the wear of the sealing ring on the engine oil dipstick to prevent rainwater from seeping into the oil. Also, check the oil filling port. If necessary, cover it with a plastic bag when parking outdoors to ensure everything is in order.
Check the usage condition of each wire end of the starter to see if there is any looseness or rust. Deal with any problems in time to prevent the starter from getting damp and affecting its service life.
Check the usage of the generator and prevent the joints of each line from getting damp, which may affect the power generation effect.
It is best to park the engine part towards the garage during the rainy season.
During rescue
During the rainy season, it is also common to encounter situations where the rear eight wheels of the construction site get stuck. In such cases, a loader will definitely be called for rescue. It is necessary to be equipped with steel ropes. Do not directly flip the bucket and use the back of the bucket to push against the rear of the truck. If the vehicle is not severely stuck, it is still fine. However, when all the wheels are stuck, it will be difficult to handle. If a vehicle weighing several dozen tons cannot be pushed out the first time and it suddenly rewinds and you cannot immediately rewind it, all the force of several dozen tons will be pushed back onto the bucket of the loader at once, which is very likely to cause the bucket to deform. Arch the back. Unless there are special circumstances, it is best to deal with the soil beside the truck tires as much as possible, or have the truck unload some materials and use steel ropes for rescue.
During the rainy season, when working loaders, attention should be paid to preventing wind, collapse, moisture and slippage, etc. When working in the rain, always stay vigilant. When working at night, keep the front and rear headlights, work lights, top lights, instrument lights and wipers of the loader in normal working condition to ensure safety.
