What are the precautions for installing a stainless steel centrifugal pump
Advantages
● Easy maintenance: Replace seals and bearings, simple and space-saving: The outlet can be directed to the left, right or upward, facilitating pipeline layout and installation, and saving space.
● Smooth operation: The * concentricity of the pump shaft and the excellent dynamic and static balance of the impeller ensure smooth operation and minimal vibration.
● Low noise: The water pump, supported by two low-noise bearings, operates smoothly. Apart from the faint sound of the motor, there is basically no noise.
● Low failure rate: The structure is simple and reasonable, and key parts are equipped with high-quality components, significantly increasing the overall working time of the machine.
● Leak-proof: Seals made of different hard alloy materials ensure no leakage during the transportation of various media.
Installation and Precautions:
Whether the installation of the water pump is reasonable has an extremely important impact on the normal operation and service life of the pump. Therefore, the installation and calibration must be carried out carefully.
2. Pre-embed the anchor bolts in accordance with the installation dimensions and complete the concrete foundation work.
3. After the foundation cement has solidified, install the pump on the foundation. Use a level to check the levelness of the pump and motor shafts. If they are not level, use shims to adjust them until they are level. After adjustment, tighten the anchor nuts.
4. Check whether there is any jamming or rubbing on the rotating parts of the pump. Strictly check the coaxiality of the pump shaft and the motor. You can adjust them with a thin sheet to make them concentric. Rotate the coupling by hand. If it rotates smoothly, evenly and without any rubbing, it is normal.
5. The suction and discharge pipelines of the pump should have their own supports. It is not allowed for the pump to bear the weight of the pipelines directly to avoid damaging the pump.
6. When the pump is installed at a position higher than the liquid level (within the allowable suction lift range of the pump), an upper bottom valve should be installed at the end of the suction pipeline, and a liquid filling screw hole or valve should be set on the discharge pipeline for liquid filling before the pump starts. When the pump is installed below the liquid level, control valves and filtration devices should be installed on the suction pipeline to prevent debris from being sucked into the pump. The filtration area should be 3 to 4 times larger than the pipeline area.
7. For pumps with high head, a check valve should also be installed on the outer end pipeline of the outlet flow control valve to prevent water hammer damage in case of sudden shutdown.
8. It is necessary to ensure that the installation height of the pump complies with the pump's net positive suction head (NPSH), and to take into account pipeline losses and medium temperature.
