What are the maintenance and care measures for screw conveyors
Principle
This machine is composed of the running part (hopper and traction belt), the upper section with a drive roller, the lower section with a tensioning roller, the middle casing, the drive unit, the reverse stop braking device, etc. It is suitable for upward conveying of non-abrasive and semi-abrasive bulk materials with a bulk density p<1.5t/m ³, such as coal, sand, coke dust, cement, crushed ore, etc. The structural form of the TD type bucket elevator: Transmission device The transmission device of the TD type bucket elevator has two forms, respectively equipped with YZ type reducer and ZQ(or YY) type reducer. The YZ type shaft reducer is directly installed on the main shaft head, eliminating the need for a transmission platform, couplings, etc., making the structure compact and the weight light. Moreover, it is equipped with a special-shaped roller backstop inside, ensuring reliable backstop. This reducer features low noise, smooth operation and floats along with the main shaft, which can eliminate installation stress.
Screw elevators are mainly used for conveying powdery, granular and small block materials, chemical products, etc. Screw elevators are not suitable for conveying materials that are prone to deterioration, highly viscous or prone to caking.
The rotating spiral blades push the materials for transportation. The force that prevents the materials from rotating along with the spiral elevator blades is the weight of the materials themselves and the frictional resistance exerted by the spiral elevator casing on the materials. The rotating shaft of the screw elevator is welded with spiral blades. The surface types of the blades vary according to the different materials being conveyed, such as solid surface type, belt surface type, and blade surface type. The screw shaft of the screw elevator has a thrust bearing at the end of the material movement direction. When the screw tube is long, an intermediate hanging bearing should be added.
Installation
Before installation, it is necessary to check whether the conveyor is in good condition, whether there are any damaged parts, and whether there is any deformation due to bumps during transportation.
(2) Measure the reserved hole size at the installation site to see if it matches the installation hole size of the conveyor support plate. If it does, fix it firmly with bolts or expansion screws.
(3) When connecting each machine slot, first thread through the bolts of each section, straighten them with a line, and connect according to the line to ensure that the connection is completed in a single line.
(4) The feeding and discharging ports of the conveyor can be flexibly set on site as needed. One or multiple (circular, square) ports can be set. The inlet and outlet ports are welded and sealed with sealant. (5) The center height of the motor and the center height of the conveyor should be kept consistent. The two couplings should be placed side by side and tightly against each other, and fixed with fastening screws.
Maintenance and care of industrial fully automatic screw conveyor
Screw-type hoists should be started without load, that is, when there is no material in the casing. It can only be sent into the screw jack after being started.
When feeding the screw elevator for the first time, the feeding speed should be gradually increased until the additional conveying capacity is reached. The feeding should be uniform; otherwise, it is easy to cause material accumulation and overload of the driving equipment, which will affect the normal service life of the screw elevator.
3. To ensure that the screw elevator can start without load, the feeding of the screw elevator should be stopped before the machine is shut down until all the materials in the casing are completely conveyed. 4. The material must not be mixed with hard bulk materials to avoid getting the screw stuck and damaging the screw hoist.
5. During use, frequently inspect the condition of each component of the screw elevator and pay attention to whether the screws of the fasteners are loose. If we find that the parts are loose, we should tighten them immediately.
Special attention should be paid to whether the screws between the connecting shafts of the spiral tubes are loose, fallen off or cut off. If such a phenomenon is detected, the machine should be stopped immediately and corrected.
7. Prevent the cover of the screw elevator from being removed when the machine is in operation to avoid accidents.
When abnormal phenomena are found during the operation of the screw elevator, they should be inspected and eliminated. Forced operation is not allowed.
9. The operating parts of the screw elevator should be lubricated frequently.
